In August
2011 we got a puppy Heeler from Debbie Felstead, we have called him "Buddy".
He is a real character and he was here for the last few months of Barneys life. He was very respectful of Barney and he knew he was an old boy who could not play, but he would still curl up with him in his basket. I have attached a photo for you and if you have a place on the website it would be nice to show the young and the old together!
Thanks again

This is when he won the most Handsome Dog at the West Norfolk Foxhounds Terrier Show ... and ... Reserve Champion. It was so funny, I have never entered him in anything before and it has really gone to his head! These photographs were taken by Lorrie Tallis and I promised her I would credit her if they were published. http://www.lorrietallis.co.uk

This is our Sammamish Washington, USA Lancashire Heeler Eddrick in action at the local dog park. He is herding a grayhound/terrier and leaving the water after swimming with the Labs. He likes nothing better than a real run or swim. He gets 10 100 meter wind sprints every morning before breakfast to keep him in shape. We get a 200 meter walk as he runs between us. He just turned two and seems to get faster as we get slower.

I thought I would send in a photo of my dog Jenny. She was purchased from Enid Lord in 2009 and after a year in London we moved to Toronto, Canada. She is quite the talk of the town. I have had so many people ask what type of dog she is and she is a wonderful breed ambassador, always friendly, outgoing and lovable. We recently lost our lancashire heeler, Zak. He was a lively and protective dog, always wanted to play and we all still miss him to this day. After he passed we felt that we needed another dog, the house felt empty and wasn't the same without him. So we decided to get another lancashire heeler but instead this time we chose a brown coloured one, we named him Sid. I am so happy that we decided to get another dog, it has helped with the grieving process and Sid has so much love to give to everyone he meets. Here he is on a sleepy day. He's a big attention seeker! - Bethany Crabtree

Hello
My name is Stanley Ginger-bottom Brown, and I live in Suffolk with my Mum Chris Adam. I have taken to it very well, and rule the roost. On my list of favourite things are:
the duvet, bedtime, treats, basking in the sun, squirrel patrol and howling along with the telephone.
Please put me on your site, as my Mum caught sight of a Heeler for a few seconds at Crufts on the TV 3 years ago, heard that we are 'cheeky little devils' and is now a total convert to the Heeler clan.
Born 6th January 2008. Less than 3 months old and has already caught her first rabbit!
Mike Bending
We have been very lucky to have bought a Lancashire Heeler back in 2003. He is a great character. We live on a narrowboat and move about the country's canals in the summer months. We find that Ben is a great guard dog and everyone we meet loves him. Here is a photo of him at Worsley in Cheshire last year .

Jack was aquired 10 1/2 yrs ago at six months old, his owners were separating and the lady could not cope with a new baby and a puppy.
I spotted the " Wanted good home" ad on the way home from having had my Lab bitch 14yrs old put to sleep due to cancer. I was feeling pretty low and on seeing the card, thought this is fate. I have had three other heelers over the years and have found them to be excellent companions.
I made a quick call to the number, went round and within twenty minutes, "Jack" was going home with me.
My judgement was spot on, he has been a constant companion since then and we all love him dearly. A real character ( sometimes grumpy) and as far as he is concerned " The best dog in the world".
His hearing and sight are now fading although he is in excellent health and always ready for an adventure!
We are looking for another one now before he gets poorly etc and of course the only breed is "Lancashire Heeler".
