Lancashire Heeler judges sub-committee

The Lancashire Heeler Club committee appoints a Judges Sub Committee and the following were elected in May 2009 and will serve for two years:

Pat Chadwick

Jacky Cutler (Co-ordinator)

Enid Lord

Raye Parry

Tony Powell

Ginnette Simpson

Sarah Whybrow

The Judges Sub Committee is responsible for maintaining/updating the Judging List and Criteria, approving new judges and promoting existing ones, selecting a shortlist of judges for the members to vote on at the AGM for Club shows, providing assessors for prospective A2 List judges and evaluators for first time CC judges.  They are also asked by the Kennel Club for their opinions on first time CC judges and to approve applications for advancement to the A2 List on completion of assessments.

All of the current Judges Sub Committee are CC judges themselves.

In September 2009, after a lot of hard work, the Kennel Club finally approved a new Judging List Criteria and an update of the Judging List prepared in accordance with the new Criteria.  Applications from new judges will be considered periodically and judges will be promoted to higher lists when they meet all the criteria and have the support of the Lancashire Heeler Club.
