Our virtual Lancashire Heeler show has been judged by our ' A list celebrity' judge Trisha Bellinger (Heelstone), Adderbury. Thank-you for all of your entries. The photographs have given Trisha and many others a great deal of pleasure over the holidays as many of you on Facebook already know! Judging was not an easy task!
The photographs have generated a great deal of interest and helped spread the word about The Lancashire Heeler. Entries were received from several countries including Germany, Finland, Holland, Sweden, Norway and the USA. All 1st 2nd and 3rd winners in our 'virtual show' have been sent a 'virtual rosette' and a virtual trophy has also been digitally engraved and presented to our BIS winner together with a hand made Lancashire Heeler puppy!
BIS Winner , from a winner that "melted Trisha's heart" was 'Pebbles', winner of Class 11, Young at Heart, owned by Monica Hutchings and bred by Anne Bowes. The picture was taken and submitted by Jess Flanagan who has been awarded the Lancashire Heeler 'puppy'.
All eligible entries for the draw (335!) have been placed on a spreadsheet and 'shuffled'. A random number was generated from the entries to choose the winner for The First Red Book. The winner was Susanne Nilsson (Limebrooks), Sweden. Susanne also won a 1st rosette in the hotly contested puppy class.
An additional prize for 'Best Christmas Cracker' was awarded to Julie Wallis' 'Hope' for being the photo most remarked upon! Hope wins a Lancashire Heeler Community Welfare Fund Teddy Bear!
