Lancashire Heeler Tiffin's lookalike......
Our Lancashire Heeler Tiffin is out of Tradean Vidaloca Florence (now a Champion) and sired by Mongrels Outlaw-Oliver from Sweden also a Champion.
Tiffin was born on 23rd November 2005, she bears an uncanny likeness to Muffin, who we sadly lost in October 2005. I had her sculpted from life by Sarah O'Connor who has a her own very good web page www.bespokebronzes.co.uk .
Sarah has also done a miniature bronze of Tiffin for me cast by the same foundry that does Roll's Flying Lady!
I have given Sarah permission to reproduce the bronze of Tiffin in a limited edition of 9. The copies of her bronze of Tiffin will appear for sale on her web site in due course for others to buy if they so wish. Her life size of Tiffin is a one off for us only.
It is an excellent likeness and is made of reconstituted stone and resin to make it durable to the elements, (and affordable!). It will eventually grace our terrace.
I know how crazy we all are about this wonderful little breed and I wanted to share my sculpture with other owners who may wish also to commission an eternal reminder of their treasured dog. We hope to show Tiffin (just locally) this year, I can't travel the circuit with her as I still have school aged children and 2 other Lancashire Heelers who are getting on in age, but I will let you know how we get on. We also hope to have some puppies from her next year.
Tracy has promised to help me by coming up with a suitable suitor and of course I shall have her eyes tested again before then. The picture of two people holding two of Florence's puppies in the Traqdean pictures on the Lancashire Heeler site are two of my children and the Lancashire Heeler puppy on the right is Tiffin at 4 weeks old! She is very like her mum but slightly longer in the leg.
