Ben the Boat Dog
Ben our Lancaster heeler lives on our narrowboat which tours the inland waterways.
He is an excellent guard dog, a comedian, and he is a very happy little dog who gets into a lot of predicaments. e.g. he cannot swim very well so he wears a life jacket when we are travelling!
We brought him home from Clitheroe, where he was born, when he was six weeks old as his litter mates were using him to get their teeth through.
His loves are chasing cats and looking for rats. He loves children and will steal their ice creams if he gets the chance.
His best friend is a small Chihuahua called Tilly who bosses him.
