Lancashire Heelers at Crufts 2010

Well done to everyone at Crufts 2010, a great day. A wonderful atmosphere round the ring and benches as already commented by many. Also a time of much celebration.

CRUFTS LANCASHIRE HEELER Best of Breed 2010A very proud Chris Norman with Lancashire Heeler, Rocky

Many of you will already know the story of Rocky (CH NORMANSVILLE LONE STAR) . For those that don't, he was hand reared by Chris who willed and nurtured him to health. He was sold as a puppy but returned by his new owners after a short time. Chris decided that it was providence telling her to keep him and the 2 have been inseperable ever since. They are both very popular winners in the show ring, both having excellent temperaments! Rocky is renowned for his vociferous celebrations. Many congratulations to both, pictured here after their win. Picture by permission of onEdition.

Lancashire Heeler CH TRAQDEAN VIDALOCA FLORENCE SHCM

Florence (CH TRAQDEAN VIDALOCA FLORENCE SHCM) is now the top CC winning bitch with 20, taking over the record from the legendary Foxthyme Material Girl who retired on 19, although of course Jess had many other wins before we had CC's as well. Congratulations to Sarah and Tracy.

It was fifteen years ago that Sarah had BOB with Clyde for the
last time, and eighteen years since Chris won Best Dog at Crufts in 1992 with Harvey when Enid was BOB with Madonna.

Enid too had a brilliant day, with the Reserve Bitch CC with Eliza and Reserve Dog CC with Nemo jointly with Jackie Cartledge. She also bred the Best Puppy, Lisa's Jenson.

Our congratulations and best wishes to all winners and participants yesterday. If anyone has pictures that they's like added to the above Crufts gallery of Lancashire Helers please let me know.
