LANCASHIRE HEELER CLUB SUPERMATCH
(by kind permission of the Kennel Club)
SHENSTONE VILLAGE HALL
SUNDAY 23RD MAY 2010
(to follow AGM/Buffet Lunch)
The Committee of the Lancashire Heeler Club have decided to reinstate the Supermatch, which is an opportunity to see many of the top winning dogs from 2009 competing together in one place.
Dogs that have won a CC, Reserve CC or Best Puppy at a Championship Show, Best Dog/Best Bitch/Best Puppy at a Championship Show without CC's or Best Dog/Best Bitch/Best Puppy at a Lancashire Heeler Club Open Show during 2009 are eligible to compete provided all owners are fully paid up Club Members.
The competition will be run on a one against one knockout match basis, with the dogs competing first, then the bitches and then the top dog and top bitch will go head to head for the Supermatch 2010 title and the Kathie Kidd 'Kalo' Memorial Shield. All entrants will receive a commemorative rosette. Owners who have more than one dog qualified will be seeded in the first round if possible
so they do not compete against each other. The name of the Judge is kept secret until the day.
The Committee have decided that this year it will be free to enter, but to enable us to know how many to cater for and to print a catalogue please confirm whether you wish to take part with numbers by email or phone ( 07771 743138). We will be having a raffle, so any offers of prizes will be most welcome.
You will find a full list of dogs who have qualified on the 'Results 2009' list. Please note however, that this is a list of all winners, but only those belonging to fully paid up Club Members can take part as this is a Special Event licensed by the Kennel Club.
